Well I know it’s funny when I ask friends is it possible to grow taller naturally after your natural growth cycle has finished their can be are quite a strong reactions bordering on laughter sometimes.
Why this is greeted with such hilarity is that most people make an assumption that it is not possible to grow taller naturally, except when growing up, which is inaccurate actually.

One of the better ways to explain the viability of being able to grow taller naturally is to look at the opposite, in that as we reach our senior years we tend to begin shrinking or getting smaller this does not happen overnight, however this is a well known fact so what happens to cause this.

So what causes us to shrink well its good old Gravity again!, the sheer force of gravity takes hold, and the disks, or cushions between older peoples bones in the spine area, get more compressed over time. The back bones, called vertebrae end up pressing closer together, which makes a person lose a little height and become shorter.

Ok so what’s this got to do with getting taller?

Well think about it if the generally cause in old age is basically compression of the spine, and the legs, what if you could do exercises that discouraged compression and actually did the opposite and decompressed your spinal area and legs, wouldn’t that make you naturally taller?

Now I didn’t say that this would make you a giant but it could add a vital inch or two onto your height, and you would be doing this without the aid of any harmful drugs or growth hormones.

So what’s the downside to this way of growing taller naturally? Well its that old chestnut called effort, unfortunately some people just do not want to put the consistent effort in to getting their goals, however if you are motivated to do certain exercises consistently to will be able to grow taller naturally.

There is a lot of misinterpretation in the industry sorounding the beats. A lot of beat makers consider themselves producers, because they truly don’t understand that being a producer involves a lot more than creating beats.

Being a producer involves anything from songwriting, finding songwriters, vocal arrangement and production, mixing, finding engineers, booking studio time, handling production budgets, setting up studio time, and soooo much more that doesn’t even involve making beats.

In fact, there are some producers in the industry that never even touch an instrument or music computer.

I am more than just a beatmaker who plays multiple instruments and creates the beats, but I am truly a music producer who is involved in the entire process. Of course there is nothing wrong with being just a beat maker.

The process of creating rap beats, hip hop beats, as well as r&b instrumentals is the fun part of the industry, and anyone who only has the responsibility of making beats can and should be grateful that they can focus on the fun and creative part while some other sucker has to go and do the rest of the dirty work.

But I can’t really complain about the other things. I have always been fascinated with the process of starting with nothing, and creating a finished masterpiece from beginning to end. That is why I choose to involve myself in the entire process of hit song creation.

I enjoy the fact that I can hear something in my head, start making the beat, putting writers on to write the song, work with the artist in the studio to record vocals, work with my engineers or on my own to mix the record, master it, and put it in the hands of the management company or label exec, and watch it hit the airwaves.

Coach Zorra Casual Sneakers 8.5 or Coach Norra Casual Shoes?
The majority of the reviews that I have read say that these Coach Norra Sneakers are damn hot & fancy as the whole high top design is what’s fashionable right now. On the other hand these Coach Zorra Shoes are what I would call old school sneakers that don’t look as fancy, but are very casual.

It’s all the matter of taste. Any fashion fan could see those discounted coach sneakers. The Coach Zorra Shoes have their upper part made of the popular Jacquard fabrics, while the rest is pure high quality leather – the Norra ones are pretty similar when it comes to the materials that Coach designer’s used with slight differences. While the Norra ones were designed to be used primarily as tennis and sports shoes they are a more durable and are more than just daily sneakers that look pretty.

The famous Coach patter is featured on both the sneakers and it’s really nothing new to everyone who had at least one pair of Coach sneakers before – the “C” logo on the Coach Norra Sneakers look really cool though. You shouldn’t use these Coach Norra Sneakers as your sportswear as they are not that durable – the Zorra ones are, as I said, way better as your new tennis shoes. You can discover big number of discount coach signature zorra shoes. The high tops are what I would pick as I simply prefer the way they look and the fancy touch Coach has added to them.
I don’t have to say that you should look into both of these sneakers as they are worth both your money and your time.
With Coach it’s always a safe buy, even if it might not be the cheapest one and sure, you can get the similar models for less money, but think of the quality and the money you will save as there won’t be a need to purchase new ones until you simply get bored of these!

Well it is the time of year when both cable and satellite TV companies are raising rates.Comcast got the ball rolling in November of 2008, with notice that they would be increasing costs to their customers. Dish Network followed up with their own announcement that took effect in early February of 2009, also raising prices on customers.

DirecTV is the latest major player to announce a rate increase. The DirecTV price increase will take effect in early March, and will raise the prices of most packages between $3 and $5 dollars each. DirecTV is citing higher programming costs as the reason for the price hike. Direct TV prices have been raised for the past three years.

All in all, the increase won’t break any budgets. When you look at it logically, they are basically raising the price of service about a dime a day, well worth it for most subscribers who watch between one and four hours of television each day. Still, it seems as if consumers are getting nickel and dimed to death, even with the economy going into the tank.

On the other hand, compare Direct TV vs Dish and that will provide you a good idea on what satellite television will offer. One example is the price charged for DVR service every month. The Direct TV DVR is about per month, while Comcast charges upwards of for their DVR service. Charges like this really can increase your bill.

Direct TV had another great quarter to finish out 2008. They added over 300,000 customers in the last quarter of 2008, while Comcast lost a half a million. That in itself show that Direct TV feels comfortable raising rates, even though the economy continues to slow to a crawl. Dish Network satellite will certainly have a hard time keeping up with Direct TV in 2009, as they have lost a key reseller, with AT&T switching over and offering Direct TV service this year.

But in his rollicking new book “Star: How Warren Beatty Seduced America” (Simon & Schuster), biographer Peter Biskind hazards a guess about the conquests of Hollywood’s most notorious lothario — based, he says, on “simple arithmetic.”

Biskind estimates “12,775 women, give or take, a figure that does not include daytime quickies, drive-bys, casual gropings, stolen kisses and so on.”

Regular Twitter users and fans know quite well that rapper and “Law & Order: SVU” star Ice T is a dedicated video gamer. He’s very vocal about his love for interactive experiences, crowing about his latest purchase or his Xbox Live gamertag (it’s “Lord 187X”) at every opportunity. And more power to him for it, for shining some positive light on the relatively new and frequently embattled medium.

Of course, none of us really know how serious Ice is about his games. We know he’s a “Call of Duty” fan, and a big one, but not if he’s actually any good. Or we didn’t know, anyway. In today’s Daily TwitPic, Ice gives a taste of just how honed his skills are. Every multiplayer session in “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2″ is followed by an after-action report, detailing a player’s score and Accolades (awards for finishing a session with a specific set of requirements). These may be meaningless to you if you’ve never played the, but take it from a fan: the Accolades that Ice scored here are hard to secure.

HAVANA – No record store here has ever sold their music, and before Sunday, no one in the country had ever seen the band live. Yet for 40 years Cubans have loved Kool and the Gang, seemingly unconditionally.

Cuba filmmaker Gloria Rolando said the band’s funky sound provided the soundtrack for her generation’s coming of age in the 1960s and 1970s. And even though there was a brief period in the 1960s when the government banned American music, Rolando remembers K&G’s music “playing everywhere.”

“It was a period of time that we didn’t listen openly, in public, but the people never stopped listening to good American music. There were always underground ways.”

She recalls exercising at home to K&G and dancing to the music at teen parties. “The music made you happy when you were down, told you to celebrate life,” Rolando said.

Avatar may be hurt by the curse of expectation, and it’s hard to keep the message that MOVIE MAKING HAS BEEN CHANGED FOREVER out of your mind once your butt is actually in a seat in front of the thing. The trailers keep telling us how nothing will ever be the same again, and we know the budget of the movie was anywhere from $200 million to $500 million, depending on what report you’re reading. Who knows how much R&D Cameron put into the technology behind the movie.

Even the credits of the film are monstrous: after Industrial Light and Magic and Weta Digital were credited for the special effects, the long line of other effects houses that worked on the movie scrolled by. I lost count of how many different companies leveraged how many different forms of technology to get Avatar filmed. If you’re a fan of cinema, no matter how you feel about the trailer, you need to see this movie; it represents the absolute best that technology can give us in film—at least with an unlimited budget and a small city of geniuses working across a decade to bring it to life.

Michelle Dunlap never thought she’d be in that situation. In her mid-20s, she found herself living in Atlanta and stuck in a rehabilitation center with dozens of senior citizens, many of whom wouldn’t speak to her and had trouble understanding her.

Michelle has cerebral palsy and she’s been in a wheelchair since she was two years old. When she speaks, you can tell she has a disability, but she’s sharp, intelligent and fluid. Almost everyone who meets her assumes that there’s something wrong with her brain, that they shouldn’t talk to her.

“When people look at me, they stop in their tracks,” she told me. “They see me like there’s a wall in front of me. All they see is the chair. They don’t see the face or the person in the chair.”

‘Every Piece Of Humanity I Had Was Stripped’

Michelle wants to go back to school and study Criminal Justice. She’s fully capable of living independently. But after she found herself without family or friends in Atlanta, and was hospitalized for dehydration, she ended up in the Crestview Health & Rehab Center on Springdale Road, and she couldn’t leave.

The staff and patients at the rehab center were nearly 100% African-American, and for a disabled white lesbian, it wasn’t the easiest transition. She lived in a small room with three other people, and was told when to eat, sleep and urinate. She tried to keep up with her homework but had limited access to a computer (with her disability, it takes Michelle longer to type than most people). For a person who strove to live independently, to go to school and have a career, the experience was devastating.

“It felt like I was in jail,” Michelle said. “They did not have any regard that I was trying to better myself. Every piece of humanity I had was stripped.”

The Crestview Health & Rehab Center declined to comment for this story.

What she thought was, at first, just a temporary inconvenience was beginning to look like the rest of her life. That’s when she met Zak Topor.

‘He Is An Angel’

The Atlanta Legal Aid Society is a nonprofit group that assists lower-income families with legal counsel. They were aware of Michelle and introduced her to Derona King, program coordinator for Citizen Advocacy of Atlanta & DeKalb. It was clear to King that Michelle needed someone to fight for her and help her regain her independence.

“When I hear about a person in their 20s who lives in a nursing home, that’s a priority. That’s an atypical way for a young person to live.” King’s job is to connect disabled people in need with a volunteer “advocate,” someone who can speak up for one whose voice has been ignored.

“He doesn’t take crap from nobody,” Michelle said of Zak. “He’s become kind of like my big brother.”

Zak Topor was immediately affected by Michelle’s wit and ambition. He couldn’t believe, however, the conditions she was living in.

“Four people stuck in this tiny, tiny room with just enough room for a bed,” he told me. “They just treated her like she was a dog. The Atlanta Humane Society treats their dogs better. I couldn’t believe it.”

Michelle’s connection with Atlanta Legal Aid and Zak’s relationship as a citizen advocate were the biggest factors in getting Michelle out of Crestview and into her own home.

“I decided that if Michelle and I tried to fight them, that they were going to get worse in their treatment of her,” Zak said. “I said, ‘Michelle, I think they’re escalating in their bad treatment of you. Let’s just put all of our focus on getting you out.’”

And they did. The Atlanta Legal Aid Society was able to find an apartment for Michelle and took care of all the paperwork. Zak helped her prepare and pack for the big day.

“The day I got her out of there — she just had clothes and few personal items and we got out. Her and I — our elation — we were both kind of like ‘wow, we never have to come back here.’ It was like we broke her out of prison.”

Since late October, Michelle has lived in her own apartment, and she’s getting back on the track she planned out years ago. She wants to pursue a degree in criminal justice, and potentially compete in the Special Olympics again, as she did years ago in Pennsylvania.

For now, though, she’s putting her everyday life back together. She looks forward to getting a motorized wheelchair soon. Right now, however, money is too tight, and she continues to drive her manual wheelchair through the hilly streets of Atlanta.

Zak and Michelle are now more than Advocate and Protege. They’ve become close friends.

“He is an angel,” Michelle says of Zak. “[Citizen Advocacy] did the best thing they could have done when they put me with Zak. He’s the only family pretty much that I got.”

Michelle knows she’s been fortunate to have such help, but that others who have disabilities and no family are still struggling. She wants to use what she’s learned to help others.

“As a recipient of such help, I want to give back to somebody else. Even if just an hour a week or whatever. But, something. Because I do have a lot to give — it’s just finding out how to give it.”
