Hey i have an old xp computer ant want to make it a client of my newer vista home premium computer. I hear that there is a program out there that when u boot up the (client computer) u come straight to the welcome screen on the base computer (the one with vista on it) some how they are connected threw the network. Any ideas?
Hey everybody. Right now I’m a (female) sophomore in high school in Omaha, NE. I’m trying to figure out where I want to go to college. I’m planning on working in the music industry when I graduate. I know of a Christian college called Evangel in Springfield, MO that offers a “Bachelor of Science in Music Industry”. I want a program like that, but I also think it would be good if there was a record label near my college so I could possibly work as a college representative. Do any of you know where there are any Christian colleges with a good music industry program, AND a record label nearby so I could possibly work there while I’m in college?
Oh hey, guess what else Engadget Chinese got hands-on with today? The MSI Wind U200 that leaked yesterday. Official specs on the Wind U100 followup are just like we said: 12-inch, 1366 x 768 pixel LED-backlit display, Celeron ULV SFF 723 processor, GMA 4500M graphics, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 2GB of DDR2 memory, and 250GB disk, and 1.4-kg with 3-cell battery. Still no pricing or release but we’re sure that Computex (kicking off June 2nd) will change all that.

Hey, remember the Nuvifone? Sure you do — it’s Garmin’s entry into the wide world of smartphones. You know, the company’s Linux-based, proprietary OS phone that’s heavy on GPS integration? Well according to a recent report, plans to launch the device in the first half of 2009 have stalled, with the company stating that it will be pushing the window back towards something closer to Q3. President and COO Cliff Pemble expounded on the difficulties of building a smartphone from scratch during a conference call with analysts, noting “Smartphones are complicated and bringing one to market that’s built totally from the ground up on a custom Linux platform is not an easy task.” If you’ll recall, the original announcement of the Nuvifone was way back in January of 2008, with a planned release in Q3 of that year — placing this new launch a full 12 months out from the intended street date. We’re all for competitors in this market, but it seems like maybe the folks at Garmin jumped the gun with all these dates they’ve been dropping on us — missed launches don’t exactly promote confidence.
